Rattle coming from stick shift.

My wife has a '15 unlimited with a six speed. We have a rattle coming from the stick, more noticable when your hand is laying on it. The dealership said that Jeep know about the noise but there is no fix for it yet. Anyone have or know of this annoying problem? Any ideas or fixes would be appreciated.

I have it in second gear. I hear its common, but only other Jeep I've heard it in was a 14 JKUR. I've heard that dealers have replace whole transmissions and stuff and the problem still being there or gotten worse. I am going to say its an alignment of things and things vibrating against one another that causes it. Personally after hearing all the bad press about them replacing and having the noise worse, I am going to ignore it. Plus, mechanically it seems fine, mine my slave cylinder being louder then hell. But even then it doesn't shift bad and no clutch slipping. Replace when it fails. So I duno..

Mine does it because I pulled the handle and havent tightened it back up yet. Not sure if it could be the same issue you guys are having. I havent dont it cause I need to pull the console one more time to run some wires for heated seats but you could try a strap wrench on the handle and see if it sets it back into the "notch".

Mine is obnoxious in all gears, but loudest in 3rd.

Waiting for a TSB, otherwise I will try to swap on a heavier shift knob to hopefully dampen the vibration.
