Rattle Help

<insert obligatory "It's a Jeep!" or "Turn the radio up!" comment>

I have a horribly annoying rattle on my Jeep that I'm hoping you guys can help me diagnose. Located at the driver side B Pillar and what sounds to be ear level or slightly above.

Tried:
1) Tape on door striker on F/R. Also adjusted door striker, and opened both doors while driving and the rattle is still present.
2) Reset hard top freedom panels and hard top.
3) Verified all hard top bolts are tight.
4) Verified speaker bar bolts are tight.
5) Removed freedom panels and rattle still there.
6) Removed seat belt adjuster trim and everything tight.

Anyone have any other ideas? If it was a once in a while rattle I could live with, but it's a constant rattle the entire time I'm driving the Jeep down the road.

Update: removed freedom panels, rattle still there. I guess I'll dig into the seat belt adjuster area.

It would be helpful if you can post a video or something so we have a chance to see / hear what you are even talking about. We can't just blindly diagnose an issue over the interwebs. Thats like calling a doctor that you have never spoken to, tell them your knee hurts and expecting them to tell you exactly what is going on. Just doesnt work lol

Pull the interior plastics off the pillar if you havent and go for a spin. Mine rattled too and it turned out the edges and some surfaces under the plastic would rattle against the metal pillar on bumps. Used some dum dum (good stuff) where the surfaces met and my interior is quieter than ever.

My soundbar/speaker bar did that. The driver side speaker grill was slightly loose - tightened and went away (I did see that you checked that already).

About six months later there was a squeak from around the same area. Shifted the padding that touches the speaker bar and the squeak went away.

mine sounds like the pendulum for the locking seat belt mechanism, I have the same clunk at shoulder level, thought it was the back door, but its not,

Exactly where mine is/was. I greased the slider mechanism and it has went away, at least for the 1 drive I took. We will see if it's a fluke or if it comes back.

Rattle is back. Going to see if I can take the top off and see if it remains.

Took the door completely off and the rattle was there. Took the b pillar trim off and it was there. Going to take the rear door off and see if it helps, and then check the rubber stops on the sound bar and see if that helps. Last resort will be taking the hard top completely off since I have no help to do that.

If the bolts that attach the rock rail to the body are over-tightened on the bottom, they can push the whole door up and cause some misalignment issues. I would just check the torque on those to make sure they aren't over-torqued. I've seen some gnarly rails that were literally shoving the door up into the hard top. You can imagine the rattle that caused!

Depending on the rail, I think they should be around 30-35 ft/lbs? But check your rails' website for proper values.

Just something to check

Rubi rail bolts checked and OK, rattle still there. I feel like I'm destined to have this forever! Ha

I honestly feel it's the hard top rattling based on the sound, it's almost a hollow plastic "knock" sound, so I guess I'll just turn up the music until it gets warm enough I can take the top off and check.
