the best overall quality and ability to last .

well I researched over and over and came up with the Poison Spyder .

it is the only one that was recommended by a guy who has been in the 4wd business for years..
he said others will work for a while but the poison spyder is the best..
so I bit the bullet and spent the 1300 bucks for it..

down side is that you still have to paint or powder coat it once you get it..

Poison Spyder Rock Brawler 2, JCR Offroad Vanguard rear with adventure carrier, Ace eng pro series rear with carrier. Those are great choices.

The AEV bumper and tire carrier is a quality combo that looks great but discounts are very hard to come by.

Send a message via Yahoo to dawhitesJKU
there are tons of options. even more options if you choose a tire carrier from teraflex, maximus -3, or crawler conceptz.

and pick your poison with your bumper.

I would second the AEV, but I will include what I went with - Smittybilt Atlas rear bumper. I could have done the AEV (and almost did) but the design of this one and how it includes carries the 2 5 gallon Jerry cans is what made the decision for me.

A lot of others will trash Smittybilt, but I LOVE my rear bumper.

Do you have a pic from the side? I cant find a pic that shows how far it sticks out, im debating between the atlas and the JCR. Thanks!

I'm looking at ordering a bumper also in the coming weeks. Pretty sure I'm going with the LoD signature series. Might check that out.

x2 Need the rack & Jerry can holders. The use of high strength steel to lighten things up is smart engineering. Plus they'll cut the hole to mount the Mopar 7 pin harness plug.
Will be ordering through Northridge 4x4.

I have the Warn elite rear with tire carrier. It looks great but I am getting a rattle/Squeak from it. I had it installed at 4WheelParts and I think something may have been messed up. The design on the unit is awesome it opens/closes super easy my wife has no issues using it at all. It has an optional Hi lift mounts and the powder coating is top notch. I have the warn elite front as well I installed that along with a zeon winch and they are rock solid super well built and look awesome. If your going to install yourself Id recommend it!

That was my reasoning for looking at it. Rack and jerry can mount options.

I've been looking also, and wanted something that came coated, accommodated my existing factory hitch, and opened with the tailgate. Decided to go with ARB.

I really like this one too. It is a little short on the sides if you are running stock fender flares so if you a planning to go with said flares I was told to call Expedition One and talk to Nancy and they can do a little longer side. They are a great company located in Salt Lake City. They even have accessories for the bumper/carrier.
