Rear seat issue.

I recently took my rear seat out of my 2012 jk 2 door like I normally do. my dad was bored one day while visiting and saw my jeep seat and decided to grease up the mounting points where all the moving parts are. (just looking out for me.) but in the process he manually closed both rear clasp on the mounting seat bracket. and I can't open them back up! I tried to pry it but stopped when I felt like I was gonna cause damage. any idea how to release these so I can put my seat back on

It looks like the seat back is in the upright position. Try folding the seat back down - that should allow you to pop open the 2 rear clasps.
