RK 2.5 Max Travel- Impressions

I installed this lift about 3 weeks ago, and have put about 1200 miles on it so far. There are enough install threads so these are just my impressions. 2015 JK Sport, 14/56 springs. Lift was purchased through Jason at KOR, due to pricing and activity on the forum. Happy enough with my experience that I ordered a bumper from them over the new year. Street: Big difference in handling. Prior to the lift the jeep would wallow through turns, with lots of body roll. After the lift the Jeep is much tighter. Lean in corners is reduced, and the front does not rise/fall as much when going through the gears. Running Fox shocks, and I really like the firm ride.

Offroad: Night and day difference. With the front disconnected, the ride is much smoother and the articulation is great. I've run 6 N Ga trails so far, and have not had a problem going anywhere. Everything from muddy hillclimbs to some rock, been through and over things that I never would have attempted before. Trails so far: Nimblewill, Tray Mtn, Sheep's Wallow, Flatlands, Bell Mtn and Charlie's Creek.

Best Comment: I was following a rig with 3.5 lift and 37's. At the end of a trail he told me that he really expected me to get stuck. But every time he looked back, there I was crawling through/over the obstacle. Couldn't be happier with my decision.

Pic is from the top of Bell Mtn.
