RK lift help

So I just ordered my RK 2.5 2door flex kit for my 2008 JKR off of Northridge 4x4but I received an email from them saying that thr 2.5 flex kit is out of stock but they can give me a 2.5" flex kit for a 4door. They said it would sit closer to 3", i wouldn't mind the extra height ( imean why wouldnt you want more height) but...

My question is if i switched to the 2.5" 4door flex kit on a 2 door would i need more control arms such as rear lowers and/or drive shafts or other parts? or would I be alright to run the kit with just front lowers?

Thanks guys!

I ran those coils on my two door. You will see 3.5–4 inches of lift.
Did you try Krawl off road ?

Yes I looked at Krawl Off road but went with Northridge because of their package deal that comes with the rancho 9000 some spring retainers and coil correction wedges for a good price.

so at 3.5" will i need any extra parts other than front lowers front TB rear TB bracket and sway-bar links

Hard to say. You will want to keep a eye on the rear drivshaft if not running arms.
Possibly Highsteer. My JK handles better with the axles centered in the wheel wells.

Right now all of our coils are in stock! We had a back order on the 2.5" 4 door coils and the 3.5" 2 door coils but as of last week all coils are in stock. If you are looking at a drop ship order from one of our venders our lead time right now is about 15 business days to ship out seeing that we are still in our busy season and the backorder of coils didn't help anything! If they were pulling your order from one of their stocking orders it may take a little longer.

Also try call Marcus at River City Offroad. He beat every ones deal when I bought my 3.5" X factor back in February of this year. You will love the product. My ride is better than the 2" system that came off the Jeep and the articulation is amazing. I need a new drive shaft though....hits the exhaust.

Thank you for giving us a shoot. On the kit they have be carefull. They run a 2.25" front and a 2.75" rear bump stop. RK calls for a 3" front and rear and we have seen some rubbing with this setup. That is why with our kits we offer the 3" as well as to not have this problem.

And if you go with a 3.5" you will WANT the 3" because if you do the high steer setup, you will NEED them or you will have clearance issues in the front. Also, with the 3.5", I would highly recommend doing the uppers and lowers front and rear. This will help dial everything in and also help fix some of the pinion angle. If there is anything we can do, please let us know...

What year is your JK? If it is a 2012 and newer, did you get the exhaust spacers? We are working on a 3.5" lift that will not have this problem but if you have the exhaust spacers, you should be clear... If we can help with building you a new front shaft, let us know.

Jason.... I do not have the exhaust spacers. I have a 2014 and do not want the exhaust spacers. I want to try an just do an aftermarket drive shaft and see if that will fix it. I will give you a call to discuss a new driveshaft.
