Rotational whirring with slight tapping sound??

After months of diagnosing a highway vib, I think hopefully something started manifesting itself that may lead to a fix.

From a cold start under 30mph coasting to a stop i hear this slight rotational whirring sound with a faint tap. Cant seem to hear on acceleration over the engine and after the jeep is plenty warm I dont notice it. The Jeep is 99% street driven with 28,000 miles. I have spent alot of time under the Jeep looking, shaking, prying, pushing looking for a clue. Read possible pinion bearing failing, ujoint bad. Just looking for a more focused point before taking it in. The dealership loves to come back with can not duplicate. Thanks for any help or insight.
