Rugged Ridge sidestep fitment problem

Hi , model 11604.21 will not fit my 2017 jk 2 door. I tried two different sets and neither would bolt up! Here's a drawing , caveat emptor jeepers. Rugged ridge said they were for 2017, box says 2007-2015.

The body mount location has not changed 2007 to 2017 (present) are you sure you had the correct step on the correct side. The side of the jeep isnt a straight line there is a slight angle/curvature to it. So ensuring you are using the correct step on the correct side will ensure proper fitment.

Yes I am sure I had the correct step on the correct side. The 2017's body bolts barely fit the bolt holes in the steps, the nuts did not have clearance to run down and torque. The nuts wwasher area contacts the wall of the step. Same problem on all 4 steps. If the Jeeps have not changed then all the parts are defective. Not trying to fix this , just trying to warn anybody thinking of buying these.
