Running Boards for 2017 Wrangler Two Door Sport

Will the running boards off 2016 Two Door Wrangler Sport work on the 2017 Two Door Wrangler Sport?

Anyone have any advice on buying black running boards from a non mopar website, yet with the strength attributes of mopar.

The factory side steps that come on non Rubicons do come in handy. But note that they are only steps.

They can be damaged if you bump into trees, rocks etc while off roading. they provide no protection. (In the owner's manual it states "Prior to off-road usage, side steps should be removed to prevent damage").

For serious off road use, a set of rock sliders would be a better choice. As a plus, they can double as steps.
