Sector shaft axial play?

So, I've been chasing a bad frontend wobble for a few months now... Did Swamp Lake trail and munched my tie rod and some other stuff pretty good. So, I started digging into wtf might have failed and I got a few things tightened up and snugged up and re-aligned and stuff. My ball joints developed some play in them, so I re-set the preload on them. Everything is torqued to spec. Trackbar bracket is already on the list to get a doubler welded on as it has some slight elongation of the thru hole on the bracket, but it isn't moving enough to really worry me.

But one of the things I found is that I have a bunch of axial slop in the sector shaft on the steering box, this leads me to think a bearing in there got munched but I have no idea if these things are supposed to have play like that or not. Thoughts? Not really wanting to replace a steering box but if it needs it, well, it needs it. The jeep has almost 150k on it now, so I'm not going to be suprised...

Thanks!
