Short control arm

Help! i noticed a loud "metal scrapping noise" coming from the back driver side. i discovered it was due to a missing bolt connected to the short control arm. Can those bolts come loose with time? or do they only come off if one tries to take them off? has any one else experienced this problem? (i guess i really want to know if someone has been tampering with my jeep)

Perhaps a manufacturing oversight. What year is your JK? Just make sure you tighten it to 125ft-lbs.

My JK is a 2017. I failed to mention I got my suspension installed about a month ago, could that play a role in this issue of mine?

yes it can happen. every lift kit I have ever seen says to retorq after the first 500 miles or so and then you should do it every 5000 miles or so.
