Should I regear?

09 x with 2.5' lift and 33s right now. Wanting to go to 35s. Thinking about general grabber red letters. My daily commute is 15 minutes with about 4 minutes of interstate. The only wheeling I do is mining roads. Not worried about performance at all. Thanks.

I would drive it.. See how things go then decide,
W/ 35's your gas mileage and performance will plummet. It's a good idea.

What gears you have now will matter , but to be honest if you plan on going 35s just go ahead a regear it

Yep, just try it first!!!!

But if you don't like it, which is probably what will happen.
If you re-gear for 35's, and if you have a manual trans, then 4.88 ratio, if automatic, 5.13!!!!!!!

Look at the gear charts and the RPM range you will be operating in. "Not worried about performance at all ..." Stepping on your gas pedal and expecting something to happen falls within the realm of "performance".

I have the general red letters in the 35" and I love them mine is still stock gearing which is higher then yours. I have the 3.21's at the moment. It is driveable but could be better. I would get the 35's and drive it with the 3:77's and see how ya like it then decide. I am going to go with 4:10's because I do more highway driving then anything.
