Snapped bolt

Why guys. Hoping someone can help me out. Installing a molle rack on my tailgate I snapped a bolt. Now it's snapped the extractor I bought to pull it. Anyone have any ideas?

I would pull the bracket and hit the stub with a little heat from a small soldering torch and see if you can get a quality pair of vise grips on it.

Just to clarify, heat what's left of the screw with a soldering iron? Wouldn't that expand it? Just want to make sure I'm understanding and don't make a bad situation worse.

Vise grips are a good idea. I had tried with a smaller pair of channel locks and even a pipe wrench but couldn't get a good hold. The bracket is actually on there pretty good (the screw ground threads into it slightly but I'll see if I can wedge it off the stub.

Not a soldering iron, a torch. Propane or MAP gas would work.

Either way thank you for the suggestions guys!

I wanted to say than you to everyone. In the end the suggestion to use vise grips worked great. I was never ever able to pop the bracket off, it was threaded by the screw as well but I was finally able to get the vise grips on it. I think that's the tightest I've ever had vise grips lock up haha.

Thank you all for the great suggestions! I'll post a pic of the finished install tomorrow when I can complete it with daylight!
