Soundbar speaker blew

2012 Unlimited Sport. I think one of my speakers in the sound bar blew or something idk. But sometimes during songs I can hear like a vibration or a rumbling in one of the speakers in the sound bar during certain bass parts. Anyone know how to replace one of those speakers or where to buy a new one? Thank you

Remove the screws holding the speaker grill in place. The speaker will drop right out. If you're going to replace single speaker, you might as well replace both and go with the Mopar/Kicker (77Kick10) upgrade. They are plug and play. Get them here. You will be pleasantly surprised if you go this route.

I just installed the kicker speakers and I get the vibration, I know exactly what OP is talking about, I doubt your speakers are blown. Have not bothered to open it up and see what exactly is vibrating. Check the 4 screws holding the soundbar to the rollbars, they are known for falling out.

While you have the speakers out it wouldn't hurt to stuff some polyfill in behind them as well. For 3 bucks it does make for better sound.

Idk how to describe it but it sounds more like a problem with the speakers than a loose screw or something, doesn't hurt to check. I bought my Jeep certified pre owned, and already had a Kicker sub woofer in it. And my speakers in general have always sounded really good. So I wouldn't be surprised if the sound bar speakers were already Kicker.

Good Day - what you may find sounds like a blown speaker but it actually the Bass speaker enclosure vibrating really bad with heavy base applied. If you lower the bass the vibration goes away. I thought I had a blown Bass speaker. This looks to be inherent to the design of the enclosure. If you crank up the base, play music and then feel the enclosure, you will notice it expanding outward as the bass hits causing noise. Bass speakers need a port for air to escape and this design does not have that. If you put insulation into the enclosure, that will improve sound, yes, but the bass may get worse. I am experimenting with putting a opening into the enclosure to allow air to escape. The key would be to prevent moisture and other contaminates from entering the enclosure. Hope this helps.
