Will a 4 door steering gearbox work on a 2 door for the JK? It's the exact same motor? Any help would be awesome

Tweak: i was under the impression that a 4dr box in a 2dr or vice versa would or could cause stability control issues.

I am not sure. Ill be honest, Until you said that the ratios were different and I looked into it, I had no idea that they were different.

The ratio in the JKU box is quicker than that for a 2dr. This means it takes fewer turns to get to full lock. Installing one in a 2dr could make for very quick and squirrely steering thanks to the short wheelbase.
