Synergy TB heim joint

I know this has been discussed many times about how the heim goes bad within 6-12 months. This post is probably more of a rant of my frustration more than anything else.

I'm starting to get some bad slop and wobble in mine. I contacted Synergy directly and spoke to Dave (their CEO). Basically said it is just a "wear item" and that I needed to pay for the dual durometer bushing that they now replaced the heim with.

I don't know-I have almost every suspension and bracket from Synergy on my rig and find it a little petty I've got to fork out $50 for a part they have done away with because it was a bad setup for that track bar. Anyone else experience this?

Yes. I have experienced this with synergy. They make quality parts however their customer service sucks ass. You said it perfectly. They are a petty company and will not do any favors for the small wear items like joints, sway bar end links, ball joints, tie rod ends, miscellaneous hardware and control arm bushings no matter how many parts of theirs you own or how good a customer you are. Im not sure how they handle their warranties on failure of their hard parts because I have not had issues there but every time I felt the need for a warranty replacement regarding the above issues they did not come though. On the JL I build companies that back their stuff a bit better and frankly aren't a bunch of dicks in the warranty department will get my business. Metalcloak comes to mind those guys stand behind their stuff and care about their customers.

yep. i go through it every now and then with them. the bushing goes bad, i call Dave - expecting he's going to warranty it, but it never happens. so, i just buy another one. i can appreciate your frustration.

but... they are wear items, just like tie-rod ends. and it's a business, i get it.

Is it your dual durometer bushing going bad or the hiem joint? I was under the impression the dual durometer bushings last a long time.

Why not buy stuff with Johnny joints and not worry about having to replace all the time?

I went with synergy because I wanted the durometer bushings on both ends. Wanted somthing more forgiving than JJs or heims.
