TPMS Question

Hello,

I just bought a Rubicon. It's a 2007. How can I tell if I have TPMS? In the manual it only says "if equipped"......haha, not sure if I'm equipped or how I can tell.

Thanks

do you have a little tire pressure symbol on your dash that lights up when you first turn the key on and then goes on and dings when you have a low psi on a tire.

I do have a spot under the 'D' for drive where there is a TPMS symbol. It does not light up when I turn the ignition on. I'm guessing the instrument clusters are all the same whether you have TPMS option or not.

Copy the links below, then add your VIN (after the = sign, no spaces).. Enter them in your browser and you'll get a pdf version of your original window sticker and the build sheet. It should say if you have it or not. You can also let the air out of one tire (down to 20-25 PSI). The light will illuminate if you have TPMS.

Copy and paste this link (or click on it then ADD your vin to it) in the address bar and it will bring up your Sticker in a PDF format.
I could not get the first link to work even with a VIN
Easier yet go to this link for a complete built sheet and open the, "Equipment Listing" then enter your VIN Number in the box:

I have a 2007 JKU and I don't TPMS was an option on them until the 2008 model. I am looking to add bluetooth TPMS with external valve stem readers. Any recommendations for what bluetooth TPMS to get? You read the tire pressure on your phone with Apple or Android app.
