TPMS same between JK Sport and JKU Alitude?

I am getting ready to switch tires/wheels between my daughter's 2015 JK Sport and my 2015 JKU Altitude. Are there any differences between the sensors? Her sport only has the low tire pressure light where my altitude displays the pressure at each corner.

The TPMS sensors are the same.

As jkudave said, they're the same.

Reason the display is different is that the option on the EVIC isn't on one vehicle. All of them get the same sensors though.

Now...depending on year model, the sensors got a change (in frequency, etc). So if you're going to get used replacements, be sure they're 433mhz, IIRC.

Thank you both very much. Just what I was looking for.

Sorry to hijack the thread here, but I have a question to add to this topic for clarification.
I have an 08, my wife has a 15. We going to do some wheel swapping. Does anyone know if the sensors are the same between the years? If we switched do they automatically reset to the "new" Jeep?

The frequencies are different. They won't synch from an 08 to a 15 and vice versa.
Edit: I might have to correct myself. The 2015 frequency is 433 Mhz. I believe the frequency for an 08 JK is also 433 Mhz so it probably will work.

It may not be a bad idea to call your dealership with the VIN's of the two vehicles and have them verify the sensors are identical.

By the way, on my 2015 JK I bought a set of 5 TPMS from amazon for $50 total (looks like they have gone up about $20 now), and they worked great.

So apparently they are different and not interchangeable. Why they changed the frequency, I have no clue!

My son works for a dealership as a mechanic so he is going to do all the switching and such so...
I had thought about buying another set but I'd rather just pay him to swap them instead. Rather put the $$ in his pocket!

This is not correct. The 08 jk frequency is 315 MHz. Those wheels are not interchangeable.

I would say you're correct. I believe the frequency changed in 2013 to 433, but I'm not 100 % sure either. That's what happens when you change your answer.
