Transmission crossmember bent!

Hey guys.
So I was out wheeling today and was doing some small creek crossings. Well it was pretty rocky in there and I hit hard. So I got home and found my transmission crossmember is bent. More so dented. But it's not straight anymore. Will this cause problems for me until I can afford a new one? It doesn't look too bad and it drove fine. But that doesn't mean it's not wrecking something somewhere. Here's a picture of it. Thanks.

The owner of tread head here in Edmonton is helping me out. We are looking at the rough country one. It's affordable and seems pretty HD. It's either that one or the poison spyder one. Thanks for the confidence guys.

I banged mine up worse. It's thin and cheap. Got a poison spyder cross member and painted it bright red, so any one guiding me over rocks can see my lowest rock magnet. The cross member from them is a beast and not the cheap thing that was originally in my jeep.

I banged mine up too. I thought it was ok until I removed it and realized it was bent up about 2" in the center. I replaced it with the poison spider one also for $200 and the dealership did not even know it was there after I painted it black.

yep they are like freaking stale licorice...stiff until u bump them...mine is worse than the OP's..i have already replaced the one by the exhaust TWICE + the original POS TUBE THING they put there..the last one i put on was the recalled one and it has a "skid plate". Had to cut a relief area around the exhaust as I tagged that also I only have 2500 on mine and my underside looks like I travelled the rubicon everyday for the last ten years! ...the x members on these are a joke..i understand they are trying to save weight but seriously why cheap out in the most vunerable spots?.It doesnt take much of a hit to damage them. I do Gold mountain out here in SO Cal and NEVER had the damage like I do on my JK then all my jeeps combined! granted that trail has progressed to a black diamond trail over the years but my YJ or XJ NEVER had this amount of damage to the underside and I have driven over that trail stock all prior to lifting...and yes i do know how to drive lol.

In my opinion the crossmember should be able to hold the weight of the jeep plus some. A full load of passengers. I didn't even come down that hard. POS for sure.

It's a tin can. Not very sturdy. That's why I found the beefiest replacement. All the rest of armor under your jeep is just as weak. My gas tank skid is all bent too.

Not really happy with how they sold me a Rubicon for the off road experience and seeing how poorly it held up.

My crossmember but what you cannot see in the pics is that it was bent up.

I removed mine when I installed the rockhard skid. It really is a light pie of metal.
