Well, 12 hours later (I'm a noob so it took me forever), I was putting the last bolts back on and realized I forgot to put the dust boot on one of my upper rare parts ball joints. Do I really need to go through all that work again to put it on? It is a trail heavy vehicle so I will if I have to, but it SUCKS!
I would. If you don’t the joint will wear out quicker and it will cost you a ball joint at the least. It sucks but look at it as a learning experience you will get it done faster this time!
+1 for absolutely needs to be there to keep the dust / dirt out. It won't last a year without it.
