Water leak (when washing)

I have noticed both times while washing that the driver's side floor mat contains water. Probably 1/4 cup? When I washed it again tonight there were a few water spots on the passenger's side. There are no other signs of leaking anywhere and it appears to be coming in from above the pedals (maybe?). I will pay attention on the next wash to see if it is coming from the tire well or the hood. I have driven it while it was drizzling rain but didn't notice any wet spots afterwards. Any suggestions in the mean time?
