Arrow What are the best speakers??

I just bought a 2015 2dr wrangler sport. I absolutely love it EXCEPT for one thing. The speakers are terrible. They are not very loud and lack all low end. I want to replace them for as relatively little money as possible and am wondering what you guys have installed in your Jeeps? I found some kenwoods in best buy but they are $$$$.

P.S. I'm only wanting to replace the 6.5's. The tweeters sound fine to me.

I saw/heard some nice kickers in the best buy down the street. They wanted 69.99 per speaker though, which seemed a little steep.

Check EBay. You can get the Kicker speakers that are made for Jeeps for about $70 per pair. The model in 77kick10.

I'm a huge JL fan, ran them in all my other vehicles. Looking most of the threads for the JK, it states that you need 2ohm speakers for the best sound, and all of JL's that I could find are 4ohm. I'm pretty handy when it comes to aux wiring, relays, etc., but not speakers. Is there something I'm missing that can get the JL's down to 2ohms, or will the 4 ohm speakers work fine?

Don't mean to hijack the thread. OP, if JL's will work, that's what I'd go with.

I didn't use any of the factory wiring or amplifiers so speaker impedance wasn't an issue for me.

Thanks for the all of the input! Im really interested in the kickers. they seem to be plug and play and sound nice. working on getting the cash together now! BTW i feel like this is going to be a habit of me wanting some kind of mod/upgrade but not having the budget for it...
