which wire is the reverse light on these LEDs?

So I've got a set of these/similar: https://www.ledfactorymart.com/produ...iABEgLhCfD_BwE

and the wiring looks like this below with black/red/white/yellow as my four wires.

which is the reverse wire, and which is the positive wire? I have a reverse camera I wanted to wire but can't figure out which is which. How can I tell?

Don't know about your light but the reverse wire on the jeep harness is white with gray stripe

I have a '15, but the instructions on the backup camera mention to splice into the bulb wire, which is below the connector. would going above the connector matter?

if not, which is the positive wire?

Doesn't matter where you splice in.

Upper right of your picture, white with gray stripe. Splice positive into that, and negative into the black wire on that same side.

had it working for a second, but then when I put it all back together nothing worked. undid everything, spliced my cut wires back together and everything but reverse works now.

I'm afraid that I broke something within the pigtail - I have a second set of lights that I'll check tomorrow but in the event that I broke the factory wiring, is there a factory tail light kit complete with pigtail that I can purchase and wire myself?

You shorted somewhere and most likely popped the fuse. If I remember correctly it's fuse M31. Check your wiring first though.
