Wiring help

I posted this on the lighting forum but thought I would get more exposure here.Trying to wire a 20-inch light bar on the front of my Jeep. Ordered the wiring harness from Rugged Ridge That was supposed to allow me to hook up two lights. Of course it came with no written instructions on how to do it. I've searched YouTube and found plenty of videos concerning wiring a relay but nothing that looks like what I have. There is the relay, a wire that goes to the battery, a separate short black wire, two separate lengths of red wire, and a red and black wire hooked to the relay. I think I know how to get the lights attached to it but there doesn't seem to be a way to run any wires to the switch nor hook a ground to the relay. If anybody has any ideas or a video that might help I would appreciate it. Not sure if the picture denotes what I have very well but it's a start. I'm thinking since I ordered it without a switch, it is not wired for one.

Post a pic of what you have, specifically interested in the relay. Most lighting relays will have 4 wires or posts to attach wires, 1 for battery, 1 for ground, 1 for signal, and 1 for output. Is this an LED light bar or halogen? Is the light bar simple on and off or does it have other settings?

Best picture that I can do. I think the problem that I'm having is that there are no leads that go to the switch. Can I add wire in with what I have to take them to the switch? The light bar is a standard 20 inch LED light bar, nothing special.

If you look at the actual silver contact posts coming out of the relay, you'll see very small raised numbers next to them printed on the relay. Numbers relate as follows:

30 - To positive battery terminal
87 - Output to positive wires of LED bar
86 - To chassis ground
85 - From switch output

So basically wire up a switch, the output for the switch should run to post 85 of the relay. Post 86 of the relay should be grounded (black wire). Post 30 of the relay should be taken directly to the battery (red wire with inline fuse). Post 87 of the relay will become hot now when you hit your switch, meaning that post 87 controls the on/off of the lights. So hook that up accordingly. All black wires from the actual LED bar should be grounded by themselves, its not necessary to ground them with the relay or to the battery.

Voila!
