Wiring in a aftermarket head unit, KISS

I have a old, extremely reliable Kenwood DNX-6140 that I took out of my FJ and want to put in my 2015 JK. And keep the install as KISS (Keep it simple, stupid) as possible.

I have the base radio uConnect 130 with 8 speakers. No fancy external amp (correct?)?

Since the Kenwood has bluetooth, gps, etc I see no need for the uConnect (it's a separate module , correct?).

So I want to remove the radio (& uConnect if possible) and just use my Kenwood.

Crutchfield shows that I only need:

Axxess XVSI-6522-NAV Wiring adapter (do I need this one or a cheaper, simpler one work?) I don't know why I need NAV ouputs (VSS, parking brake, mute, etc)?!?!

Metra 95-6511 dash adapter.

I have steering wheel controls but dont care if the stereo works with them or not (I have the PAC SWI-JACK that was used with the FJ steering wheel controls, but this will probably will not work with Jeep?).

Comments?

Thanks!
