'01 Wrangler Gear Shift Light Issue

Hi, everyone.

First post, probably not the last.

So when putting it in gear (automatic), the gears do not light up. Makes it a kinda a pain for night-time obviously.

Penny for your thoughts? What's causing it? How to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Ryan

My guess would be a bulb. Not sure on the autos but the center console in my manual is really easy to take apart. I would take it apart and see if you cant reach the bulbs easily.

You just pop up the shift bezel by carefully pulling it. It's probably a burnt out bulb. This is my XJ but it mostly the same. It's a 194 size bulb
