Question 04 TJ cruise control problems

ive had the jeep for about 8 months without the horn working or CC cuz the clockspring was messed up, just recently swapped it, horn works but when i try to set CC on the highway the cruise light pops on but when i try to set it i get nothing. Any idea on where to start trouble shooting? cant seem to find the relay for the CC unless there isnt one, the vacuum lines are connected, the only thing that is abnormal (unless i think it is) the female vacuum plug that goes into the port in the IM is very loose, i can nudge it off with my finger, thinking about zip tying it. is there anything im missing?

narrowed it down to vacuum lines, but idk how to properly check them, and if its jot that then my Cc motor is gone I guess

You are sure that your new clockspring is the correct part number? You can check continuity of the wiring fairly easily. See the thread https://www.wranglerforum.com/f282/ju...-tj-90516.html. It will tell you everything you need to know about TJ cruise control. If your stock parts are all there for the vacuum lines just zip tie any questionable connections. When you shut off the engine and remove the vacuum line at the tee near the intake manifold it should start sucking air. If it doesn't there is a leak.
