1997 tj wrangler not starting

I have a 1997 tj wrangler..for about a month now every time I go to start my Jeep it struggles to turn over..when it does start the idle is really low and stalls out..I have to keep revving the engine for about 45 seconds or so until the idle goes to normal and the Jeep can sit and idle to warm up..yesterday I drove my Jeep to work and when I went to leave work a few hrs later it won't start.. The engine turns but doesn't catch and turn over..has anybody had this issue before or know what the issue could be?

Had a similar problem with mine a couple months ago. It ended just being a dead battery. Take your Jeep to Oreilly's or auto zone or w/e store you want and have them test your battery. That's always a good place to start when you're having starting issues.

I'll second what Seahawk said. My 98 wrangler was idling really rough and replacing the battery cleared it right up. Now all I have to do is remember to take it for a drive once a week to keep the battery charged up.
