2.5l vacuum lines

OK - so the new 2.5l is in was going to do a rebuild but got a new engine from a guy doing a v8 conversion - pulled the pistons out and everything looked good even the bearings looked like new so we put in new gaskets and buttoned it up - runs great the only things we noticed was that 1998 we put in required plumbing in a 45 elbow to clear the 2000 motor mount.

Now we have 2 vacuum lines left over on the intake manifold one about 10mm next to the one going to the valve cover and a 4mm one on the top on the side toward the firewall. There is a hose going to the front differential is that the one for the larger spud? The hose wouldnt reach though. We had them all tagged but the tape fell off the lines.

Thanks for any help guys.....

No, the front differential breather does not connect to the intake -- it breaths to atmosphere. I believe that screws to the front radiator/core support.

According to my FSM, the vaccum connections at the intake manifold are:

1. CCV Hose (should go to front of valve cover)
2. HVAC supply hose (goes across rear of engine to passenger side firewall)
3. Brake booster supply hose (goes to brake booster, in front of driver firewall)
4. Canister purge hose (next to EVAP canister, in front of brake fluid reservoir)
