Angry 2000 tj crossmember

My crossmember rusted out of the frame on the drivers side and dropped the bolts out of the frame.Still hanging by the passenger side.I need repair advice for temporary fix until it can be properly fixed.

If all three bolts on the one side are gone, don't drive it anymore than you absolutely have too.

That said, anything that will hold/clamp the skid to the frame will work. A ratchet strap going around the frame and skid would work, or even some large C-clamps would do the job.

Yeah what he said! The tranny is supported only by that skid plate, so alot of bouncing and shaking could be very bad.

I tack welded some small plate to mine when it rusted out, until I put in replacement frame rails....
