2002 TJ Halo headlight install

I have a set of the led halo headlights. I want to wire them so the the halo ring will work just like the stock front running light/turn signal does.

I have tube fenders with the 3/4" led and I got those to work using a writeup on using a resistor and diode so they run at half power for running lights and full power for turn signals. I don't want to just hook the halos to those as I want the halos to be full brightness and flash on/off for signals

Anyone done this? I can't figure it out with the weird way the stock wiring works

Splice off of the factory running light wire(before your resistor/diode setup) and either run that to your LEDs, or run a relay off of it; your choice. Since they're LEDs though just running the factory wire to them should be enough.
