2005 LJ Rubi front driveshaft u-joint question

I'm trying to replace the front driveshaft u-joint on my son's 2005 LJ Rubicon. Took a while to figure out how to remove the u-joint. Finally a little heat and the plastic ring oozed out and was able to pull the joint easily.

Now the hard part. How do I replace that? I've done u-joints before with the circlip, but never one with the plastic ring. I imagine it's not difficult, but don't see how at this point.

Can anyone help? Trying to get this and a couple other things done before he comes back from deployment with the Army in two weeks. Thanks.

You don't. Use the furnished clips.

X3. You should have a bag of clips. My spicers came with with two bags, one using the regular clips, and a different bag containing those same clips but in different widths.
