Your stock setup is as good as any.

They all claim a small increase in HP and torque. Whether it's worth the money or not is up to you. I have noticed improved throttle response with my AFE setup. I'm sure this forum will have a slew of opinions both pro and con, though I suspect mostly con. Again, it's up to you.

I have always been a fan of K&N or AEM. They cost but all promise better hp at close to redline. I honestly don't think you will get to much of a gain but I don't know for sure. If you do a lot of off roading and hit water/mud spots I've notice lots of water gets in the engine bay so I just threw in a K&N filter and plan on upgrading my Throttle Body I've heard a lot of guys are happy with that mod. I am just afraid of getting water in the throttle body.

Do not waste your money on a cold air intake or a throttle body. Neither give any real performance gains, and most people here will probably concur with me. For the $100s you'll spend on both, they're better spent on a lift or tires. Performance-wise, there is little more you can do with the wrangler. I have a K&N CAI on mine that came with it, and the biggest difference you'll notice is a high pitched whistling between 2k and 3k that can end up just driving you crazy.

if i were to mod the 4.0 in mine im going with a banks long tube header with catless mid pipe and upgrade the rest of the pipe to 2.5" but keep it quiet no loud muffler. Header will help low end power and fuel economy(maybe)...just my 2 cents, throw a $40 dollor k&n in your factory box and never have to buy another filter

All brands will give pretty much the same performance...within 1-3hp of each other with about a 8-10hp and 10-12 lb tq gain. Below is a link to JPMagainzine's comparison of like 10 different setups.
