Any suggestions for TJ repair places in Central Western Ma?

Went Guzik Jeep in Ware Ma and they were helpful and friendly, but long story short $650 later LJ's running worse. They replaced both oxygen sensors, tightened manifold bolts, replaced both front u joints and the whirring vibration is worse especially at 40-45 though it's still there a little at lower and higher speeds. You notice it with the accelerator applied, any thoughts?

Curious. Did you tell them what to replace or did you let them diagnose? I've made some silly mistakes in making believe I know what my problems were and mechanics swapped stuff out on my direction and that not being the problem.

If they did all that and your problem is the same or worse if bring it back to them.

Thanks for the reply Z, I don't have the knowledge to be suggesting anything. They drove it and diagnosed it as the previous mechanic thought. I didn't have the original place do it as I had some code issues to take care of so I opted for the Jeep dealership. My issue isn't with the dealership itself, I'm just getting a little frustrated with the process, as we all have at some point....we own Wranglers😃 not frustrated to the point of going with a different vehicle.... That ain't happening. Summer is going to come to the Northeast and when that week comes I want to be ready😃. I'm just getting ready to go down and see what they think, they're good guys. The only negative I can say is they think JK's are superior to my LJ? Grasshoppers.

I personally stay away from dealerships, it seems like every time I've gone there to get a vehicle fixed I get it back in worse condition than when I dropped it off. It could just be my dumb-luck, but I just cant bring myself to trust a dealer anymore

Dealerships aren't all bad. Expensive, but aren't all bad. The downside to most dealerships is with their staff. Most are young right out of automotive school with maybe one or two senior folks. A lot of their work is listed in a catalog with associated time and cost. They are not always best at diagnosing complex problems. That's where experiences comes in.

What I would do in all honesty is look at the local regional section of the forum and ask for some suggestions of trustworthy folks with great experience you can go to. That's what I did and I found the what everyone refers to as the jeep doctor.

I think every area has someone like that just need to do some digging and the local forums is where I would start for these odd-ball problems.

I'm open to suggestions. I live in Central Mass. I have one connection who's a great Jeep mechanic as a hobby, but with a couple feet of snow on the ground it would have to wait until late spring or start of summer.

Well Nellie is back to her old self. Got a loaner over the weekend and picked her up today and went and got an inspection sticker. Rides smooth and the bill was very reasonable.... No complaints. Thanks for the feedback.
