ARB CKMA12 install HELP!

Hello follow jeepers,

Me and my jeep went on an adventure to a different country. Before leaving I did not have time to install my ckma12 ARB compressor. Where we no decent mechanics/electrics around here, so I have to rely on myself.

I not a professional, but can make basic things. I got to a point where I have to do wiring. Loom has 2 wires, one should go to ignition and another to dash illumination. (http://www.4wheelparts.com/aux_incl/...1.PDF&line=ARB) page 12.

I have a 2004 jeep tj, does anybody know how to find ignition and dash illumination wires and how to connect compressor loom to those wires? Is there special splice location? special contacting point? I would like to avoid cutting Jeep wires if possible.

Thanks

Wish I could help you. I have to do this install still too, and will be watching this thread for replies.

Digger84 helped me in finding the solution.

Basically I taped into my stereo loom. I have an aftermarket stereo that was installed with adapter wiring harness. basically its a bunch of wires that connect Jeeps connector with stereo connector. This harness also has ignition and illumination wires. Using multimeter I have identified the right ones.

Now my ARB compressor is plugged in and button illuminates as it supposed to. I can even dim it with a rest of dash illumination.
