Bogging down then kicking

Okay so I have a 97 wrangler with a 2.5l 5 speed manual with 91 thousand miles on it. This just started today. When accelerating, when I get around 2000 rpm it will start kicking and roughly accelerating. Also when driving down the highway around 60-65 mph at about 2800 rpm it will bog down randomly and lose about 4 mph and then kick and accelerate back to speed. It does this about every 30 seconds when on the highway and every time I accelerate no matter what weather, temperature or engine temp. It just started doing this today. From what I have read it could be anywhere from o2 sensors to fuel pump to a dirty throttle body. Any ideas?

could also be a bad TPS as far as electrical. you aren't getting any trouble codes or CEL?

try a basic tune-up: spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap, and rotor. a vacuum leak could aslo cause this bogging, so check every vacuum line, fuel injectors, and the intake runners with carb spray.

I'm curious, did you find the cause for the problem? Seems like I have a very similar problem with my 98 2.5.
