Can you buy a new Jeep TJ frame???

I am just curious if you can buy a new tj frame, started a new project and found out the frame is shot.

Short answer yes, but you may not like the price. Just an example...

TJ Wranger Jeep Frame

If you can do some repairs yourself, it may be cheaper to find a good used frame in a junkyard and do some light (hopefully) rust repair yourself.

The jeep is a 4cyl as welll. I guess I could just do the mounts myself

Wow, that is a beautifully made frame. Better than the original from the factory, but it isn't cheap.

There was a guy selling one on Craigslist a few days ago in the Portland area. I don't see it now but it's been on a while and may pop up again.

I went the used frame route and had it media blasted and then epoxy primed by a local blasting business for $225 if I remember right last summer. If you get a used one though make damn sure that it is straight. Look up the frame dimensions that someone has posted on this forum before. I eyeballed the one I bought only to find it was bent bad up front which caused a lot of headaches to get straightened out.
