Clutch

My clutch engages 1 to 2 inches from the top, and was wondering if the clutch needs to be replaced or adjusted?

I would like for it to engage 1 to 2 inches from the floor.

How many miles do you have on it? Do you feel it slipping?

I had a Dakota that would engage and inch from the top and the clutch was fine. If it's not slipping or giving you trouble I wouldn't replace it, but that's just me.

45k miles, but I just got it used a couple of weeks ago.
It does not slip, but would like for it to engage closer to the floor, is there a way to adjust it, or maybe an aftermarket firewall adjuster?

Our Wrangler clutches are all hydraulically actuated, they are not adjustable like the old mechanical clutches were.

Arghhh!
My car is an inch off the floor, so going from one to the other is tricky.
