Coolant leak

I got a coolant leak I'm trying to find. But one thing I've noticed is it sounds like a clicking sound in 1st gear, imagine someone flicking a piece of paper. Checked coolant yestersay and it was pretty low, filled it up drive home and was a little dripping but nothing major out of it and put another 6oz of coolant in this morning. Any ideasb

Check your water pump... If it's failing your gonna have fluid coming out of your weep hole.... Hoses and thermostat housing as well. Any other issues with your engine? Overheating? Running warmer? Smoke?

Yea plan on checking that today. It's so hard to get too and see tho lol. But just replaced it in DEC. No overheating and just a small drip spot whenever I park and the smell of coolant while driving.

Any recommendation of a good water pump even tho I am limited to orielys and napa due to where I live

Which engine 2.4 2,5 or 4.0 if it is the 2.4 you might as well do the timing belt as you gotta remove it to get to water pump

But not so on 2.5 or 4.0

Islands are a whole other world. Shipping to HI isn't cheap, at least the stuff I've seen shipped.

Its hard to feel sorry for you living on the island, go with NAPA over orielly. Go ahead and change hoses, tstat and rad cap while you are at it. Have you ever changed the radiator? It would also help if we knew a little more about your jeep. Those that have engine/trans combo could give you specifics on what to change and what to look out for when doing the job.

Borrow a free pressure test from O'reileys or autozone. You'll find it. It's the weep hole is my thought. I didn't read it all but digger is smart.

Edit. Duncan was the smart cookie. Digger is still up there.
