Need to remove my cowl (piece between hood and front window) in order to route wires for Daylighters. I can't figure out how to get the wipers out of the way. Any body know how to remove the whole assembly. Arm and everything.

you gotta flip them upward away from the windshield and push the retainer clip back (they have a clip at the base of the wiper arm), and remove the wipers

Like he said. There is a type of clip that just slides off that you need to remove to take the whippers off. Just use a small pair of needle nose pliers.

Got it thanks guys. Yall have any ideas as to routing the wires from the lights. Really isn't any options under the cowl now that I got it off.

I routed my Daylighter lights under the cowl. I fed everything into the cab through a hole on the driver side. It came in behind the driver side A/C vent next to the door. The harness had plenty of length. I also had to trim a small noth to feed them from under the hood through the cowl.

AzTJ, could you post a pic, I can't visualize where you ran the wire.

Depending on the year though, it may be different. But on the driver side under the cowl, near the driver side whipper there were a few factory holes going through. One on the far end went into the cab and that is where I ran my wires.
