Do I need anything more than an E12 torx box wrench?

Hello all,

My engine is sick and I am considering pulling it my self which would be a first for me. I've done some reading on this forum as well as watching Youtube videos. Nothing seems unusual to me but many sources say I need an E12 Torx wrench for two bolts on the transmission. I'm wondering if I should buy a set or just that one size. I do almost all car repairs myself and I'm wondering if I will ever have a need for these wrenches again.

There are only two sizes of external torx heads bolts on a Wrangler. The two top bell housing bolts are E-12 as you mentioned and there are two E-10's on the t-case. I don't even own any External torx box wrenches but do have a set of sockets. The bell housing bolts can be accessed from underneath pretty easily once the skid is dropped with an extension, a universal, and a socket.

Harbor Freight has just about everything. Thanks for the information guys. I really want to get started on this project rather than see it become a redneck lawn ornament.
