I have a P1494 code, "Leak Detection Pump Switch or Mechanical Fault" on my 03 Sahara. Anybody have any experience with the repair on this one?

I have an additional issue with my HVAC. When placed on dash air, I get a blend from dash and floor. The other directions on the dial work okay. Would I have a door actuator problem, or maybe a vacuum issue?

You may have a leak in the evap system or a bad pump. Here is a thread that may help and some info on that code.

Your HVAC issue does sound like a vaccum issue. You may have a small leak in the line somewhere.

Thanks very much. Checking the boots on the intake manifold, I found the rubber badly decayed. I couldn't find holes or cracks in the lines so it could be the boots themselves. I'm putting feelers out to find the boot/boots and lines. Mopar wants $145 for the lines and boots. Part#52100493AE Hose-Fuel. Trying to find it somewhere else. Parts shops don't have right boots.
