If it's an '03-'06, here's a link to the flasher relay I bought and installed on my TJ. Simple install. Just remove the upper portion of your steering column clamshell and pull the stock relay, replace with the LED compatible relay, and you're all set. Simple stuff. The '97-'02 (I believe) flasher relay can be modded, so you won't have to buy one. (lost just gave you the link.)

if by "machine gun blinkers" you mean rapid cycling, re-check your ground. it's a classic tell-tale symptom

I agree with Cavey - he needs the correct LED flasher relay. Mine did the same thing until I replaced it.

I did the cut the thing in the relay myself, it's better but still fast. Not fast enough to make me spend $30 on a new relay though. But mine is all led front and back so that may change the equation a little.

It shouldn't. I've got LEDs front and back as well. They're the same blink-rate as the stockers with the relay I bought from GCD.

Yeah if I had the right relay it wouldn't but I went the free route. $15 you say? The one I saw at AZ was $28 plus tax...

Because pics and vids make every thread better

There's a nice video of my flashers. It's still slightly fast but it's a '99 with the cut relay. Took me a few tries in cutting it to get it right. I wouldn't bother spending the money on the relay if I didn't have to.

Where did you get those 1" white LEDs? I'm still running with no reverse lights

these came from bass pro shops. They are led livewell lights. Not very bright but legal enough to get passed at state inspection.
