You can buy brake line and then cut to length shape etc from several companies. They even have the bender too. You may however want to price that vs having a shop do it for you, based on how soon you need to have the jeep on the road. Its not a hard job, just takes time. I had a shop redo all the lines on a CJ several years ago.. I think it was around $400-500 which to me was worth it.

need pics. normally people dont replace lines unless there doing a lift or the lines are rotted out. if your replacing the hard lones they can run however you want as long as then end up where they need to be but the soft lines really only have one way to correctly run them. never heard of the line being wraped around the front end.

The hard line for front right goes along the frame across the front then back! I would use stainless if you have to replace it!

Out of curiousity how did it work out for you Tin? I'm in the same boat as we speak. I replaced all around on my 99 Sahara and I'm now left witht the pre bent wire right front and saying to myself what the? I've already tried six ways from Sunday, seem like a complete joke to me. Still can't get wrapped in correctly. I noticed paint on that particular line which indictates to me that they stuck this sucker in first and painted, then the rest of em down the road in production. Maybe you had better luck?

Any tips or advice? My left front brake line on my '98 Sahara just started leaking...small hole b/c of rust. I'm considering doing this myself (and perhaps replacing all the lines), but not sure how hard it will be.

captainchoas06, did you eventually figure out the right front wire? Where did you order the lines from??

Thanks for all your advice/help!

Have a 1997 2.5L, auto, a/c, rear drum brakes, NO ABS.

Has anyone replaced the front right (passenger) hard brake line with a pre-formed stainless kit from Quadratech? It's the one that runs across the front sway bar / grill.

Any helpful hints to route the line? What has to be removed to get the line in and how long will it take?
