Front Hub Assembly.

My D. S. hub is making noise. I want to replace both while I'm at it. Can anyone recommend a good source at a fair price. 1997 TJ Sport. Thanks.

A Timken unit bearing hub from a good source like www.amazon.com would work well.

Thanks Jerry. My wife has a prime account with them. I'll check it out.

I found an unusual issue with SKF/Napa front hubs. The rear seal is plastic. I had dirt accumulate between the guard plate on the axle and the bearing hub. This pushed the plastic seal into the hub and contaminated the bearing. I'm not sure what Timken uses, but a cheapie from Oreilly had a metal seal/guard instead of the plastic piece. So far so good.

If the pic works the orange piece is the plastic I'm talking about. http://s7d9.scene7.com/is/image/GenuinePartsCompany/NWMDC?$Product=GenuinePartsCompany/1147465
