Front yoke

I am changing my front pinion seal and have been reading up on the fix. The one thing I have read that is worrying me it the removal of the yoke. Do I need a puller or will I be able to just pull it out by hand. Info on that and any other tips for the change will be appreciated.
Thanks
Dalton

Tips. Check your preload before you remove the pinion nut. Use an impact while holding the yoke with a pair of channel locks. If the yoke is stuck slightly tap on the both sides of the yoke with a hammer and it should come off.
