Gearing

Hi guys. I'm talking to a guy about trading a car I have for a 98 wrangler TJ. My question is this, he has put 35" tires on it and re-geared to 4:88. I was looking for something I could daily drive if I chose to. Would I be ok with this set up? It has a 6 cyl, 5 speed. Thanks, Troy

yeah easily. I have 35's and the 6 cyl and 5 speed with the stock 3.73's and daily drive it and have no problems.

This is great. Most people have the stock gearing, but this is good.

Sounds like the correct gearing for 35,s 4.0 6cyl 5 speed.Im running 35,s with 4.11,s and probably wont be using 5th gear until I regear to 4.88....
