ID:	2637193 Guy pulled out in front of me. The Ol' TJ took it like a man. Despite flipping over she's pretty solid. But totaled.

I myself have a minor concussion, Fractured Jaw, and 2 black eyes.

If anyone's in the Myrtle Beach area, want some super Swampers? Haha

Sorry to hear about your wreck. Hope you aren't in too much pain. I am in the myrtle beach area and I might be able to offset your costs a bit by taking some parts or tires off your hands. What size are they?

Another idiot on the road. Glad you are OK. Can you make your jeep into a trail rig or is it all twisted up?

Glad you weren't seriously injured. My wife had a car run a stop sign in front of her last week. Our damage wasn't as bad as yours because it was pretty low speed, but I was thankful I put Poison Spyder bumpers on my wife's JKU. Those crappy plastic factory bumpers probably would have made mine a lot worse.

With a concussion it will be at least six months before you know what if any significant cognitive effects you have.

Had one guy thought he was fine not even any documented LOC but his short term
Memory got real FUBAR and never recovered had to be perminately medically disqualified

Although standard psychology testing can be useful something as objective as cog screen can be very informative

Glad you are ok. The Jeep is just a thing.
Like mentioned, it could be a long road to recovery. Don't sign off on anything until you know of any long lasting injuries.
Insurance company will push for a quick settlement.

Looks like you might of stayed on all fours if not for those darn long arms!

x2 on dont settle!

I was in a wreck 17 years ago where the guy hit me in the rear of an Escort and totalled it. Had whiplash and knee bruised. Turned out when Nationwide called me, it was on that dude's part! Thinking it was MY insurance calling me and telling me I needed to come in and sign some things. When I got there they LIED to me, and told me none of my medical bills would be covered til I signed and settled, the same week, while I was in pain. I got screwed. A month later I found out I had a slipped disk in my lower back. Found out the hard way when I picked something heavy up and it felt like someone stuck I knife in me.

Insurance companies love to screw people. Your injuries may be more than you think. Glad thats all you got going on right now though and that you're here to tell the tale! Crazy it flipped, almost looks like a turtle trying to right itself up lol.

Wow what a traumatic thing to have to go through!! You'll never forget that accident, I'm glad you're basically ok.

The above advice to not settle for a while is right on and needs to be stressed. Injuries can take months to show up or even be diagnosed for their true cause. It wasn't until 10 months after my wife's car accident where the tingling in her arms and vision problems was finally properly diagnosed to two broken vertebrae in her neck which required major surgery and a bone graft. They kept trying to tell her there was nothing wrong and that her symptoms were just in her mind until a doctor finally suggested an MRI which found the problem... almost a year later!

Give yourself a couple months before deciding you're completely ok and sign anything. Don't let the lawyers push you to sign before you are comfortable there's nothing wrong.

That is some mediocre medical care, Jerry. Given the radicular symptoms they should have gone to an MRI much sooner even if an x-ray was benign.

Unless he's just visiting Myrtle Beach, he's in South Carolina.

Glad you're OK. Take the advice on waiting to settle and don't let the Drs push you into thinking everything is fine. If something feels weird go to the Dr and get it documented before you even think of settling. Good Luck.

Wow that's scary! I'm glad your ok though. My first wrangler was totaled by another driver this August he rearended me pretty hard. I'm still in therapy for my settlement. Don't settle now go to therapy as long as possible. Get every pain you feel checked out and documented with your lawyer. Eventually you'll be able to build an even better jeep.
