Headlight Harness

Broke the clip that keeps the plugs connected from the wiring to the headlight. Now it comes loose every now and then. Don't want to get pulled over for a headlight out if it comes loose from a bump or something. Anyone know if i can cut the wires and add a new clip? If so, what is the part(s) that I need?

Can't speak to a specific pet number for your TJ but I had a plastic plug on my 2003 4Runner that needed to be replace and I was able to get a ceramic plug on Amazon for around 4.00. All it took was 10 minutes, a couple of butt splices, and some glue lined heat shrink to install.

If you are not comfortable doing it yourself you can contact a local body shop and see who they use for pigtail repairs. It happens all the time in collisions.

If it is the plug that goes to the headlight, an auto parts store will have them. Pretty Generic. They make a standard and a heavy duty. Three wires to connect and you are done.
