Heater Core Replacement Issues

Ok, so I just finished replacing my heater core and the leak/coolant smell is gone...ya! However, when I went to test it the air is only coming from the top defrost vent. I tried all the different positions on the selector and everyone sends air to the top defrost vent. Also the air is always hot, even when the temp selector is all the way on blue. I didn't test the air conditioning because I didn't refill the system. Wanted to get the blower fixed first. in case I have to remove everything again. I'm thinking it might be a stuck door o the heater box (I did check them all for proper function before I installed it) or maybe it could be a pinched HVAC line at the back of the heater box? Any Ideas?

Problem solved....I removed the dash again and found the red vacuum line disconnected. Must have happened during installation. Everything works now.....
